David McGlynn is one of Ireland/s most innovative and creative artists, born in Dublin. David Studies foundry engineering and bronze casting in Belfast after earning a BA in Fine Art Sculpture from NCAD in 1993.
His sculptures are influenced by music, flights and the wonder of childhood imagination. This embues his sculptures with a lyrical and magical quality. His
work often incorporates a combination of glass, copper , stones and stainless steel in addition to the original emphasis on the use of bronze casting.
David McGlynn's visual art defines convention and is always exploring new possibilities within the journey and mystery that is life.
